Art can be a refuge from the intense emotions associated with illness or trauma. There are no limits to the imagination in finding creative ways of expressing feelings. Like art, yoga has been used as a form of healing for centuries.
Immerse yourself in the combination of art and yoga with the intention of finding yourself in what’s known as “the zone” or a state of “flow”. This state is mediation and naturally allows you to be in the present moment and ultimately less stressed.
During the workshop we will be creating a safe space to journal, practice yoga, meditate, make art and reflect.
